Marc Van de Looverbosch founded Distributed Ledger Law out of curiosity about the ways in which distributed ledger technology and the law interact. Marc is a PhD researcher at KU Leuven, where his research revolves around good faith acquisition of financial assets. He is also a lawyer at DLA Piper (Antwerp, Belgium), where most of his work is devoted to advising and litigating for clients in the financial services industry.
